A general-use, premium type form release for use on steel, aluminum, plywood and composition forms. Composed of organic chemicals that react with the concrete to prevent adhesion and provide quick and easy release. An excellent value for the money. Concrete is left with an architectural surface or ready for application of curing compound or sealer, or bondable for plaster, mastics, paint, etc.
Compliances
Corps of Engineers CEGS-03300, Section 10.8 Form Coating.
Navy Dock and Piers 56359

Features
Reduces the costly expense of cleaning forms and minimizes preparation for re-use
Ready to use direct from container
Non-staining, leaves no residue, free of kerosene
Eliminates need to sandblast concrete before plastering, etc.
Neutralizes corrosive lye, which rots wood forms and causes rusting of metal forms and equipment
Does NOT require red label
Non-irritating to skin |
Usage
Chemically releases concrete from steel, aluminum, plywood and composition forms
Increases the life of both wood and steel forms
Waterproofs plywood and helps prevent deterioration and corrosion of steel

Application
SURFACE PREPARATION
To receive maximum benefits of FORM RELEASE GOLD, forms must be cleaned of all buildup and dirt prior to application.
METHOD
Spray direct from container in all working temperatures. Apply in thin film by sprayer for maximum protection and economy. Spread uniformly cross spray to avoid pinholes and uncoated areas. Puddles should be wiped up with squeegee or rag prior to use of forms. Runs, puddles and excess buildup can retard curing of concrete. Prior to coating plywood forms, apply one or two heavy brush coats to edges for waterproofing protection. When any material is to be applied on top of concrete, follow the application instructions of the material manufacturer.
Cleanup
Sprayers and other application equipment can be cleaned with UNITEX CITRI-CLEAN.
Cautions
Non-irritating to skin
Red label NOT required
